My name is Valeria Suchkova. For the past 10 years, I’ve been working in visual art — exploring form, texture, rhythm, and imagery in everything I create.

I AM VASYA IVANOV is a personal project rooted in my childhood, when I would spend hours studying illustrated books. Later, during my studies, I became fascinated with hand printing — a single piece could take 5–6 hours of studio work. The process was complex and multi-stage, and I often didn’t have the resources to bring all my ideas to life.

Now, neural networks have entered the picture. They've become tools that allow me to bridge the handcrafted approach of the past with the digital possibilities of today.

There are no random elements in this project — every silhouette, color, and texture is born from a dialogue between me and AI.

I intentionally use a limited color palette — this allows me to explore combinations more deeply and achieve expressiveness even through minimal forms. I’m constantly testing how modern technology can help create visuals that feel alive and emotionally resonant.

All artworks are created using neural networks under my art direction. Every image goes through my personal selection and retouching process. One series (10 images) can take me up to 4 hours of work.
